I have been using this setup for quite sometime successfully.

HDMI audio was a little flaky and my install was getting a bit screwy. So, I updated the BIOS to latest and did a reinstall of Windows and everything, now I have an issue.

Jetway JNC62K Motherboard (nVidia 8200 chipset, DVI - HDMI out)
AMD 4850e
Kingston 2GB RAM
Vista Home Premium x86
Samsung PN50A550 (via HDMI)

Using latest GeForce drivers as well as nVidia HDMI audio driver (which can no longer be found on nVidia's site).

The video is displaying just fine at 1080p but Vista is refusing to recognize that HDMI is connected for audio.

Any ideas?

Hello Stephen,

Thank you for the update.

Please note that the drivers for the graphics card do not control the Audio out from the HDMI port. It is a hardware feature supported by the graphics card and the Audio out through the SPDIF connector on the motherboard. For this reason I request you to try contacting the manufacturer of the graphics card and the motherboard to check if there are some settings or configuration changes required to enable this feature.

For your convenience please find the link for the Jetway website

I am sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused.

nVidia's less than stellar reply.
