JeanTech 700W Storm cpu power

I am getting mixed ideas on the jeantech storms CPU Connector ,Mine came with 2- 4 pin connectors for additional power ,There was no 8 pin connector just the 2 -4 pins joined to the same power connection,I guess this is standard? the thing is i my new motherboard recommends i use a 8 pin and i am being told i can join the 2- 4 pins together by one person and just to use the 4 pin by someone else.

Do i join the 4 Pin 12V atx together to make the 8 to power my quad or will this give me problems?

with the layout of the plastic plugs if it doesnt fit you wont be able to plug it in but it sounds like they go side by side... if one of those 2 4-pin plugs wont plug into a standard 4-pin cpu plUg your on the right track.

I checked the website for you and it says it supports EPS12V so you should be fine,, the plugs will only plug in one way so if you can plug it in its ok http://www.jeantech.com/storm.htm
