To start I'll let you know that I know absolutely nothing about JavaScript. I have a PDF that I am trying to automate a little. I have a bunch of Check Boxes and what I want to do is make it when you check them it puts text in a box below. the check boxes are setup 5x5.
If check box 1-1 is "Works well with others" and check box 2-1 is "Shows up on time" I would like the box below to say "Works well with others. Shows up on time."

Is this possible? Can you give me a good starting point?

This is what Adobe Acrobat Professional is for, and there's plenty of documentation and examples available.

PTNL can you point in the direction of some good example scripts (either FormCalc or Javascript) I am doing a similar item that is a bit more complex and just feel like I am banging my head against a wall right now (using Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0)

Honestly, the few PDF things I have done were accomplished through some Google searches with a little trial/error. I don't have a specific resource to share on this.

Thanks PTNL your so awesome, maybe next time you could suggest google it in all caps instead of expending such verbage for someone who is obviously so far below your station in life.

Nothing sarcastic or insulting was in my post, nor was anything written to illicit a "Capt. Obvious" response. The solution provided was presented as an alternate approach to cope with your admitted lack of knowledge with Javascript.

Though your asinine post does raise a good point; I over-estimated your own commitment to finding an appropriate solution. My mistake.
