JavaScript Disabled

Very recently I've been having a problem where JavaScript seems to be disabled, but in EVERY browser and every setting I can find anywhere JavaScript is very clearly enabled. For example when trying to view a YouTube video, I recieve I nice little error informing me that I have JavaScript disabled or am missing Flash player when in Opera I can go to Tools -> Quick Preferences and I can see that JavaScript is enabled! It's driving me crazy. I've isolated the problem to JavaScript with the Error Console (and I've completely removed and re-installed Flash Player). What can I do to fix this?

I'm getting the same problem on some sites...YouTube is not one of them. I think its because flash-player needs to be installed as an extension. Are you running linux? I only seem to be getting this problem while I'm trying to stream content on Linux.
