Java Apphang error?

Not 100% if this thread goes here, or in general gaming. I placed it here because I doubt its the game's fault I get this issue.

For the past year, I have not been able to play minecraft on my laptop because of a recurring java error.

I have reinstalled GPU drivers, Java, Minecraft, and other related software multiple times with multiple versions of each. All give the same/similar error.
After the game launches, I can play between 2 seconds to 15 minutes before the game freezes and I get this error.

Running latest java, latest GPU drivers.

Laptop: Asus N61J
Ram: 8gb
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 325M
Java version: 8 version 45, 64 bit
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Would really like to get this issue solved, haven't been able to play for the past year now...
 
There were a ton of really poor responses and references to stuff I wouldn't bother with. After looking over responses it looks like there really is no clear fix buuuuut, I had found 2 references to giving Minecraft more memory and a few instances of uninstalling Java and Reinstalling.

The below link covers both.

It does look like it was seen with quite a few users. If increasing memory or uninstalling java and reinstalling then I am not sure.

K, thanks! I'll try those out in the next few days.

Thought i'd mention, this issue happens with Vanilla minecraft, but what is more important to me is Technic, a minecraft launcher for modpacks. This issue seems to effecting all the modpacks I play, including vanilla (Through Technic). Technic and Vanilla launcher both use the same java, so I assume any fix for vanilla should work for technic?

EDIT: It has a section for Technic as well, so that answers my question.

Still getting issues. This is really annoying. Really close to just reinstalling Windows altogether... But I don't want to....

Another one for your pleasure. I find it VERY confusing that I can get around 10 different errors, all with the same symptoms, in the same settings.
