Jaggies on 360 using dell 2407

Not sure if this is in the right forum, but I will post this in the console forum as well.

I just got my dell 2407 and I have set up my xbox 360 on component using someones suggested display settings (it looks suprisingly good), my problem is I am running 720p and I played my first game the other night, project gotham racing 3. Everything looks stunning but there are jaggies everywhere, it is like antialiasing is non-existent, that definetly did not happen when I played pgr3 on my HD projector at my house

anyone have any suggestions besides buy a VGA cable (would that even fix it?)
 
I don't think the scaling engine is as good on the 2407 as the 2405 but I could be mistaken. I played it on mine (2405) last weekend and it looked really good. I didn't really notice the jaggies playing Blazing Angels or Full Auto.
 
I know that my GameCube when hooked up via component to my 2405FPW looks hella jaggy compared to when I play on my HDTV.
 
the problem you are having is more with the game then the monitor. pg3 has problems that make jaggies apear all over making the extremely realistic graphics less enjoyable. this happens on all kinds of displays. It is a shame but it is not the 2407
