After thinking about the z 5300's, the z 560's, the Z 640's...

I have settled upon the Klipsch Promedia GMX A-2.1.

These are perfect for my price range...

I will be listening to music A LOT! I also will be hooking this up to my Xbox. I game only a few hours a week on my computer...

Good idea?
thanks

oh yeah, and what soundcard would be appropriate for these? Don't want to spend more than $60...

BTW MisterX, are we getting a FAQ together?

I think that this card shoulld win the bang/buck category for 2 channel output.

Your nForce2 audio should work fine with them. I have the A7N8X-Delux and it works great with my 4.1 and Klipsch Pro4.1 speakers and Grado SR-325 headphones.

You should be fine with that and will save you some money. Can always upgrade later, but I havn't cause I like the onboard just fine.
