Ok well i went an added a 3rd 9800gtx to my system but holy hell was there a temp increase in my room.So I gots a few questions.
1. is it possible to w/c 3 9800gtx and a q6600 on the same w/c system
2. dont really wanna water cool so are there any after market heatsinks that wou8ld help these video cards keep there temps down.
3. cause i know your gonna ask the case im using in a an xclio windtunnel review of the case here http://www.bigbruin.com/2007/windtunnel_1

I added a 90cfm 120mm tro the front and a 120cfm 120mm fan to the rear.
Now for my temps while raiding in world of warcraft with 24 other people for a period of about 2 hours all 3 video cards are running about 60-70 degrees celcius I would like to knock that down to about 40-50 degrees if possible so any suggestions would be great my cpu temp doesnt go above 45 degrees celcius.
 
Those temps are totally fine for your video cards by the way.
1. Yes, but your going to need a really big radiator and more than one probably
2. Yes, but it's not really worth the money as your video cards run well within the normal temp range.

I'm not positive if your trying to keep your room cooler or your video card temps cooler because if your trying to keep the room cooler then all the heatsinks and water cooling in the world isn't going to help you because your system will still be heating up your room just as much.

EDIT: To clarify, your system will be dumping the same amount of heat (wattage) into the room whether your video cards run at 1C or 1000C, assuming power usage doesn't change.
 
Ok well since my temps in my room are not gonna change to much i guess im uninstalling that third 9800gtx till winter hits.
 
you can always set up a water cooling loop with an extra few feet of tubing (like $1/ft or less) and put the rad outside a window or something. might not be pretty, but you could do it for about $300 pretty easily and effectively cooling all 3 video cards. or if you just wanna cool one card like that you can do it for about $100.
 
i run an xclios wind tunnel case as well.. its a good case.. though the updated version is far better.. with the top mounted fan and the PSU moved down lower then in the old version we have.. also the front and back fan layout suck because it actually increases the temp using a fan that pulls in air from the front.. creates to much positive pressure with the 2 side fans on high.. so i had to make the front and back fan exhaust fans.. also the front fan doesnt work all that well.. im about to modify mine and cut a hole in the front of the case where the front fan is since the LCD screen on mine no longer works.. theres no point in me keeping it there..

also another thing i hate is that if you have a psu with a bottom fan.. even though there is a vent ontop of the case you cant turn the psu over to use the vent as an intake vent for the psu.. luckly i only payed 100 bucks for it.. because the original 140 plus shipping they were asking would of been a rip off..

i currently run an 8800GT w/ accelero S1 @ 700/1836/1000 (running gpugrid BOINC project) and a athlon x2 6400+ running W@H (another distributed computing client) and the case temp sits at a constant 32C with the temp probe sitting near the middle of the case with almost no influence from the incoming air from the side fans..

ive also seen some people talk about using different layouts with the side fans.. some running them as exhause fans.. some using just one as an exhaust fan.. ive tried all of them.. and honestly none of them work any better then with them as intake fans..

depending where you live and where your computers are sitting.. why not just go to walmart or something and grab one of those double fans that sit in your window.. thats what i currently use and it works great.. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10980195 something like that.. mines a little older and cheaper but it works all the same..
 
Well i removed the hdd cage and the fan grill from the front fan so that 120mm intakes gets more air to my 3 video cards and my temps dropped 3 degrees. Are there any after market heatsink tiy guys can recommend that will fit a 9800gtx. Looking for something that will do gpu and ram if not a gpu heatsink and then some ram heatsinks to add will do fine
 
well there is one trick.. if your cards are sitting directly on top of each other.. i learned this from one of the reviews [H] did a while back with quad sli 9800GX2's.. if you take a small piece of paper.. fold it up a few times.. dont make it to thick.. but thick enough to create a gap between the cards so that the top card and middle card can pull in fresh air.. should help your temps with the cards as well since there will be a bigger gap for the huge 250mm fan to push air between the cards..

also lately ive been thinking about mounting either a 120mm or 80mm fan on the top vent of the case.. just to see if it would help to pull out more heat in the case.. i may give it a try tomorrow or something just to see how well it works..
