Hi!

Thinking about buying the following build and wanted to make sure it will all fit (as well as if you have any other comments I would be happy to receive them):

Intel i5 4670k
ASRock Z87E-ITX
Silverstone SG05BB Lite USB 3.0
Silverstone ST45SF-G (450W 80+ Gold Modular PSU)
Antec H20 620 v4
MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming 2GB
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD
Corsair Vengeance Pro Black 16GB (2x8GB) 1866MHz

- Will it fit?
The graphics are (as I found out at least) 26cm and the SG05 gives you 262mm clearance and it has the connectors for the power on the "far" side, not the "short" side (towards the chassi).
As I understand it the cooling blocks the ODD bay but I am not planing on using it, just want to make sure that everything will fit without cutting or modding the chassi.

- Good choice for components?
This will run 1,339 EUR (11,725 SEK) and 1,370 EUR (12,000 SEK) is my maximum budget.

Will use it for gaming, playing at Full-HD and might (MIGHT) want to run dual monitors later on, the dual monitors would be used mainly for school / ordinary use but might be used for gaming as well if the graphic card would support that in a good resolution.

Other comments are of course appreciated.

Best Regards / TheSwede86

I'm doing a similar build in an sg05 with a AMD 7970 and 4770k and asus z87i-deluxe for a friend

I think that video card is going to require a slight modification to the case in order to fit.

The 7970 is 10.43" x 4.38" x 1.5", and the back fan plastic touches the case with no space (pic http://t.co/5erhAE8Ikb) and with a mobo while test fitting http://t.co/GSRJf3UJNp

That gtx 770 10.55" x 4.37" x 1.42" so it's a tiny bit longer, so you might have to hit the frame with a hammer a few times to get that .12" clearance (i don't think you'll have to dremel it out, but you might)

Keep in mind that with the long cards you'll want something in between the card and the fan/radiator area in the front of the case, I think that I am going with a Teflon cutting board trimmed down so that the card can't short out.

Also, you may want to get the non modular power supply as it's abit more compact and will give better flow (IMHO)

Thanks for replying.

In regards to the measurements the GTX 770 I'm thinking of is 26cm (260mm) and the SG05 seems to have 262mm clearance for a graphic card.

MSI

Your card seems to be 26.7cm (267mm) if Google is correct when converting inches to cm/mm. Saw that the card is flush with the chassi side as well as fits without any modding if I read your pictures correctly?

Hm, your comment about the 0.12" clearance (around 3mm) is worrying.
Would really want to avoid modding the chassi in order to get everything to fit.

If it's really 26cm you'll have extra space, i was just using newegg's size information, you should be fine

Sweet, thanks man.

Any idea on the Antec H20 620 v4?
Seems to work according to other sources.
Looks like the same as the corsair h40's (which is smaller then my h70) so it should fit no problems, just watch the back of the video card so that it doesn't touch the metal on the rad when you install it.

Awesome, cheers mate.
Might use velcro or some plastic if it seems to be the case.

I'm running a similiar setup:

The GPU should fit, if it's 260mm. If it's more, you'll need to look at making modifications.

The one big concern is the size of the fan+radiator.
The Titan PCB is somewhat thicker than the usual card, and thus for me, it collides with the Antec 620 rad.
Because of this I have temporarily only fastened one of the screws, with the rad a bit rotated to make it fit.
Who knows, maybe the MSI 770 won't be a problem.
I have tested the MSI 670 and 680, and those were no problem for the rad (just put something in between the metal to make sure).

I'm waiting to swap case for the NCase M1 instead of fooling around more with the SG05B.
The new GPU's are a bit too big for it.

The M1 campaign should end today, if you're interested: (It has probably ended when you read this)

Thanks for the reply (a fellow swede as well^^).
I have seen it although when I saw it I believe it was due in the beginning of 2014 (atm writinh from a mobile so cant check it out, will later though) and I want to build now hehe.
It is a real interesting case though and thanks for the tip.

As long as the rad and card dont make contact, the rad will fit without any mods right?
I wont have to drill holes or anything like that or any other mods (except dropping the ODD/HDD bay)?

Do you have any idea of the space at the bottom of the rad's fan?
Thinking about installing the SSD with velcro there but wondering if the SSD could be fitted onto an 2.5-> 3.5 adapter and then at the bottom of the chassi (next to the rads fan).
Guess there will be too little space for that?

If we're thinking about the same spot, there's not enough space.
I mounted my SSD under the PSU using cable ties.

What about here then?

This thing sticking up was the problem for me:

But it seems Staryoshi managed to avoid it.
It's possible I didn't try hard enough.

Fair enough, Velcro it to the right hand side of the rad instead :)
