iTunes unknown error (4000)

I'm having some trouble with itunes that I can't seem to pin down so I figured I'd run it by you folks. I'm running windows xp with service pack 2 and the newest version of itunes I believe (4.7). Often when I try to burn a new cd, I hear the drive spin up and spin down alot and then it simply errors out and tells me that I got "error 4000".

Anyone know why this is happening? Googling it didn't really get me anywhere. Just a bunch of Mac users with the same problem and fixes that don't apply to windows....

i had this problem once, but it was so long ago i really cant remember what the problem was to be honest. My 1st idea would be that you have conflicting drivers or software. uninstall ALL other burning software (including itunes) then reboot and reinstall itunes....

Unfortunately I've already tried that. itunes is the only burning software I have that is not integrated with windows, so I uninstalled it, restarted, and reinstalled. Same results.

No one here uses iTunes and has had trouble with it?

I'll give this thread this one bump and give it up I guess....
