Itunes will break ur pc if u turn it off after installing the 64bit itunes, i dont know why.

im sure this has prolly be discussed, but i just cant find it.

Just warning you, cause if you do you have to boot in safe mode then roll back or something to the comparison.

if anyone has or knows the problem/fix to this pm me or post it thanks all.

Never had this problem myself. 64bit Vista here.
Do you mean WinXP 64?

This is news to me. Vista 64-bit Pro here with iTunes 7.6. Anymore info on this?

i'm running itunes (64 bit version) in vista 64 and (32 bit v.) in xp 64 with no trouble. only problem is with cd burnign in xp, you get the warning each time itunes loads that it hasn't been installed correctly.

no... itunes now has a 64 bit version breaks my pc every time i have it installed
Vista Ult (64) comes up with a driver errer and Bsods if i dont uninstall it b4 i turn the comp off. though it works while its on. i dunno why it does it, but i uninstall bonjor and itunes each time. it may just be bonjor doing it. the link to DL part of it http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ i was extreamly happy they made a 64bit so i could finally update my phone.

may just be a weird thing just saying its there though

I believe Martyr is saying that the iTunes may now work in Vista, but it is not a 64 bit binary. It is still a 32 bit program.

I have no ideas what is causing these problems. A friend of mine has had countless issues with iTunes and Vista on two of her computers. I've never had a problem with it in XP or OS X.
