Hey y'all, I have a pair of Rockit 8 G2's and an M-Audio Fast Track Pro as an interface. The problem is that in games, the moniters have a slight static sound to them. It doesn't always happen right away but eventually in most games it will start crackling. I've installed the latest drivers from M-Audio with no success because the only have ONE DRIVER! No revisions or anything. Is there anyone else with this annoying problem? Anyone have some sort of miracle fix? Thanks.

Are your cables from the M-Audio to the Monitors exceedingly long? If so try shortening them. You are probably getting inductive interference from a source nearby. The M-Audio device you are using has over modulation protection, so I would guess that it is fine.:D

try slapping a clip-on ferrite on the cable at each end. Cheap and should work fine
