It looks like my run in the top 10 may soon be coming to an end. I just got word that my lab will be going into full production and I have to hand the keys over to someone else to admin. I have a feeling when they find the f@h processes running, they will be killed immediately...not to mention the tempurature of the room, LOL.

I will have to find another way in the future to get some massive points posted for the team!
 
That is too bad. I know your output has been quite impressive. Just don't get fired over F@H either!!

BTW, the thread title kinda scared the crap out of me. Loosing a bit of output, no matter how much, is nothing compared to having a good folder leave. You had me scared for a second.

 
Oh well - like everyone has already said at least you are sticking around. The thread title made it sound like you were leaving. :eek: With more and more folks adding quads I'm not even sure I'll be able to hold in the top 50. Right now I'm still slowly gaining on some but there are many in my rear view mirror with much higher production than mine.

 
Thank you for all that you've done for the team, both in production and inspiration. And like Kendrak said, don't leave us. :D
 
Wharf_Rat, thanks for putting a lot of heat under my ass :D Guess I'm safe for now but I won't be surprised if you find a way to get the production back and haunt me again ;)

I'm not worried about leaving and even if your production is small, it's always welcome for the good of the science.

Amen to that and +1 also :D

That title scared the livin' shite outa' me when I first read it :eek:. Although you have had one fantastic and much appreciated "ramp up" of pernts (appreciated by both team 33 and the people that will benefit from any cure) it's something we'll all have to accept if your production takes a hit, besides these kinda' things happen all ther time. (broken boxen, power failures, new hardware, etc) :mad:. What we can never accept is loosing a good folder for team 33 or the very, very important science :(

Please Wharf_Rat just take the whole thing in stride and keep on foldin' because, as I said above, it's mighty appreciated. Don't get in trouble over it and just think of the money Xilikon is saving in anti deppressive meds and heart attack meds now that he won't have to be "lookin' over his shoilder" all the time. (only kiddin' about the anti depessive and heart attack meds) :p

LOL, maybe it's the other way and I must buy meds because there is nothing pushing me and it get depressing :p

 
Thanks Wharf_Rat for your contribution to the team and Stanford. It was an amazing run for sure, but like others stated, be careful at work. Someone over at OCF got fired a couple of months ago for installing F@H on the work machines. I'm sure your situation is not the same but thought I'd give you the heads up. I hope you will continue to fold and perhaps this will give you the incentive to build some new boxen.

Sorry for the misleading title, I am not going anywhere. Ill just need to find some new boxen to put to work!

I am even feeling the pain at home with Al Gore laying the smack down on Pennsylvania. I had to reduce to only my primary rig for the time being.
