It's a bit slow here lately

If you guys don't start posting, I'll have to post naked pictures of BillR and his favorite goat/sheep/platypus.

Fair warning. :p

Or I can re-post that pic of relic topless in a doo-rag. :D

Well, since it's quiet.... I guess I'll ask....

Why does the GPU client hate me and my hardware?

I feel, so....... alone:(

We all hate you digital, it's not just the GPU client. ;)

I ignore the GPU client...and will until they fix the points per WU disparity.

But you like my hardware:D

Yes, the mighty Northwood farm... er, garden.... um well, terra-cotta flower pot...

So, stick with the regular client then?

You forget, many of us are really messed up. Some of the people will probably like those pics. I wouldn't be surprised if you get a deluge of PMs asking for links now. :p

Please, Please none of those pics

I think it is just a case of us all being busy folding...

-Folding the laundry
-Folding paper at work
-Folding the wife in half on the couch
-Folding our head in half in anticipation of the BillR pics

Personally, I think it might be time to bring out the Rubber Ducky...

We were in Vegas for Thanksgiving so that's my excuse for not posting. Left everything folding while I was gone though. My new battery backups came in handy if the flashing and reset microwave clock says anything.

Why is it slow in here?

Too much talk of animal fornicating!

I can't help it, I am just a boring person. Thanks to the PS3 folding I haven't had to turn on the heat (I am actually serious!)
Relic, it is on you to start some more epic threads:)

Hey, I'm adding an X2 4000+ overclocked to hell (stable at 2.9Ghz on stock voltage so far) just so my heat doesn't come on as much.

I'm also going to add a 1.2Ghz T-Bird by this weekend hopefully. It's going to be running WCG rather than folding, though. Great machine for that.

Basically, I'm rather busy at the moment. :p

Well that's hellva of an overclock. I have a 3800 and the highest I can go is 2.4 from 2.0, any tips?

I think I just got a damn good CPU. It's the retail 4000+ 64nm AM2 on newegg. I just happened to also get 2 gig of Corsair XMS 4-4-4-12 DDR2 RAM with it which is free after rebate. Buying the combo including the CPU and RAM saved $55 with $10 instant off the RAM and a $40 mail in rebate. By the time that's done, I will pay $61 for a $66 CPU and get 2 gig of RAM for free.

Sadly enough the only thing I had gone onto newegg to get that night was 2 gig of RAM and ended up with RAM, CPU, mobo, PSU and aftermarket cooler. Still only comes out to $200 which I don't consider a bad deal.
