It's 27 too much?

I just buy a new 27 inch from HP and like I tough, I think it's too big.
It's not bad for the eyes, Rise of Triad is good on it.

Anybody feel the same?

Too small.
For browsing I use a 27" monitor, for some browsing, gaming and video I use a 110" projector.

Yea but your nose is not near it like I am right now.

I remember playing mortal combat was funnier on the xbox with a large screen than on this monitor and my old 19 one. But again I wasn't close to the large screen.

25 and 27 are the perfect sizes IMHO for a monitor, for distance viewing a nice big screen is good but totally depends on the screen in question I have seen many that the DPI is perfect makes reading on them fine for menus as well as for games themselves however I have also seen many others that reading on them is just utter crud even though for gaming looks perfect.

27" what 1080p or 2560x1200? for 1080p that is the best size IMHO for 1200p it getting crowded

Yeah 27 is too much...which is why I have 3

the only thing I thought was kinda funny when I got my 27 was I pushed it back and it looked great.
then I thought wait in my visual range a 24 closer to me is the same size as a 27 pushed back on my desk.
So that kinda thru me a little but I love a 27.
When the 31 4K monitors get below 1K I will have one
yea like I am going to hold my breath lol
