havnt tried it, but looks extremely simple. should be cheap to make to as it's just a resistor, transistor, cap, and inductor.

also, referring to that thread and the other thread you posted here...

i couldn't find the choke and the .001 uf transistor

I believe that you should be looking for 0.001uF or 1nF capacitor, not transistor.
Check in with your local electronics store, they'll have both.

don't bother with the store, radioshack.com will get you farther... even though, not much.
