I'm having a hell of a time getting these 2 to work together... anybody have any tips for me?
I can't get the resolution right
I can't figure out how to manually adjust the limits of each side of the screen
I can't get the colors right
I can't do anything! gah!
help?

a it4200 is a printer from hp...
EDITED:
Nevermind, your card should have a digital video out... I have no clue whats wrong.

the ti4200's with vivo use s-video to get to most tv's, if the lcd supports dvi in or vga in then use those (but vga will probably yielf crap results)... the manual should have information for what refresh information to set (both vertical and horizontal) along with a shitload of other settings to get hdtv [qualiy] input

I'm using DVI and it sees automatically as 'Philips HDTV'. I'm not sure where my TV's manual is. Should I just try manually setting up the refresh rates and whatnot?

Also, you're correct with the Ti4200 assumption. Typo on my part, sorry. It's hard to see the text on this thing. :p

What are you using to change the resolution? Just the standard nVidia control panel? Try Rivatuner, create some custom resolutions and refresh rates.
Also, do you know what resolution you're aiming for? 1920x1080, 1280x720, etc?

1st - Find the native resolution of the monitor
2nd - You can force non-standard resolutions (like 852x480) using the nvidia control panel
3rd - Size of the displayed image can be changed most easily by means of the Phillips TV. If you don't have options for changing the size (which I think is highly unusual), then try searching on google for the method to enter the service menu. If that fails, then you should try adjusting screen sizing via the control panel.

Last thing I should mention is that selecting premade options like "720p or 1080i mode" does not yeild the best image (i.e. pixel perfect image reproduction like that of a computer monitor)

It would also help us if you let us know what model TV you are using

The TV is a Philips 55PW9363. The DVI input does not have the functionality to change the screen size. I haven't tried manually setting anything yet. I've tried the native resolution, the adapter resolution and the overscan and none of them are working too well. There's an option in the nVidia driver that lets you set the overscan limits but it won't let me just nudge the image to the right, which is what I need to do. Anybody have any suggestions as far as links go? I've never heard of the service menu...

Hmmm... you might be up the creek. Sounds like Phillips has had your exact problem on other lcd monitors (with dvi) and it turns out there is no solution.

However, it seems that on some Philips screens, you can adjust the position using the arrow keys on the remote. It's in that thread I linked above
