hey guys,

when I follow the [H]orde guides for setting up the multi GPU I get a message when I double click my icons I have created

error.jpg

Folding@home version 6.23
Usage: fah6[-option][-option]

Please note the above recognized flags for when you start Folding@Home again.

I was up all night last night and tinkered with it a bunch today with no luck. I am using the "Folding@Home-win32-GPU-systray-623" with ver 178.28 for the CUDA drivers

Help please

You dont have your tag set up right, please post pics of the properties windows of the shortcuts you made.

thanks for the quick reply

side note...how do you insert images so they appear in the forum, not just the link to photobucket...

Put a space in between GPU and the number

-gpu 2

Don't know on the image, I just use my own ftp/website.

sweet that worked, now I have to doubl click all 4 of them? Correct? when I double click the second, third and fourth I get the following error

I used the same driver for 2, 3, and 4 that I used for the first the only difference is that the Nvidia installed did the 2, 3, and 4 at the same time...

sorry for the 'handholding" through this...

You need to extend the desktop onto each of the cards.

I've gtg, taking dinner for the kids at church.

That should get you set, if not some one else will pick up.

(dont forget to change the machine ID's on the clients)

you can get Rivatuner and adjust the shaders up a bit however be forewarned that it can nuke your card if your not careful:) however it can lead to a decent boost in ppd.

I am also using "FAHSpy" to monitor these and was curious why some of my "run-clone-gen" numbers are red?

The line that looks like this?

[00:06:22] Project: 2665 (Run 3, Clone 256, Gen 88)

is in red?

If you want to check the colors click on Settings>Interface>Log Window. You can check the color settings there.
