Issues with HDMI Audio Out

Hey all. Hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction. First here's the hardware in question:

Mobo: Zotac GF8200-D-E
GPU: MSI Radeon 4350

HDMI cable connected from GPU to Denon 2310 AVR.

Here's the scoop:

So I installed a fresh full version of Windows 7 on my HTPC over the weekend to replace the expiring RC. Once the install was done, I tried to replicate (from memory) how my HTPC was setup before. I installed the latest ATI catalyst drivers and that was correct because I remember having to correct overscan issues.

Installed Mediaportal and noticed I was getting DD/DTS passthrough on my DVDs but not getting multi-channel from my HDDVD/BD backups like before. (only stereo sound). Then I remembered I had to install the Realtek HDMI Audio drivers. Installed that and when I go to display playback devices in W7, nothing shows up except "Remote Audio" or something like that.

It seems that if I just have the catalyst drivers installed, the ATI HDMI audio device shows up in playback but I remember there being a Realtek HDMI audio device that I select that actually got me the multi channel audio I want out of the hi-def backups.

Any insight? I almost feel like re-installing W7 and starting all over.

Let me add that I've been playing the files outside of MP (using MPC) and no luck there so I'm guessing it's a driver I'm forgetting to install or a setting I'm forgetting about.

Thanks!
