So i just got an H50 and installed it, but I have run into an issue and im not sure what to do.

The only thing that was changed on my build was adding the H50 cooler.

Im running an i7-930 on a GA-X58A-UD3R now with the H50 but the issue im having now that i installed that is that i am getting nothing to show on my monitor. The computer starts up but as far as anything past that goes, i have nothing.

Anyone have this problem or know what could have happened? my PSU is a 500w and im running everything in my sig. Could the H50 have pushed it over the edge?

Thanks in advance!

You could try unhooking the H50 and just seeing if it will post. Wont hurt it if you just leave it unpluged long enough to see if you get a picture. I dought the H50 pushed it over the edge on power. Might want to check all your power cables and make sure nothing is unpluged.

double check all power connections and seating

clear cmos (read owners manual for mb for proper jumper / procedure)..for whatever reason frequently when making changes i've found it necessary to clear cmos before computers would post properly. after clearing cmos obviously you'll need to set correct values again, assuming it posts at that point.

if that fails then pull the mb and try booting it out of the case... i've also experience no post due to grounding (had standoff in wrong spot...oops)
