Issue with user drop-down menu

I noticed that a drop-down menu appears when you click a user's name in a thread. But instead of just allowing you to choose what the menu offers you, it just loads their profile.
 
Mozilla Firefox .8. (I probably should have specified this in the original post. My fault.)
 
I just used Moz and Opera and IE without issue.
 
I'll have to go through my installed extensions to resolve any sort of issue. Thanks.

(The forums are much faster, by the way.)
