I've had this system since right around the launch of Ryzen and have had no issues up until this week. I just switched over to a Thermaltake AIO and was messing around with my OC a little and ever since my system boots directly to the bios everytime I power on. I've since tried to reset my cpu back to stock and I'm still having the same issue, I'm close to my end here and running out of ideas, can anyone point me in the right direction?

TL;DR system boots directly to bios on every power up... please help!

BIOS may have a call set. Did you try loading defaults in BIOS. I know some of the early problems needed a thorough clear CMOS to get boards to boot.

is there an option for boot in to bios?

what are you using for a boot drive? ssd or hdd?

I did load defaults on bios, and just tried it again for good measure. Same result.

There is no option for boot into bios that I've found, boot drive is a samsung ssd

flash drive has to formatted to fat32 i bet.

everything looks ok.

you may have to clear cmos and see if that gets it.

Clearing the cmos just consists of removing the battery for some time with the system powered off correct?

The last thing you want to hear is to swap back the cooling to air. If it is your thermal take AIO having an issue then that is the only thing to verify it. There was a a water cooling solution that has trouble with not booting (EK), worth a google I guess.

Yeah, maybe switch to air cooling, Pump might be drawing too much. but first remove anything that is not necessary and only one stick of ram. DVD drives, except GPU all cards removed. Try a differnt GPU card if you have one. Swap out the memory sticks. Sometimes on older BIOS pressing the insert key on startup.would load defaults.

I tried switching back to the air cooler and had the same issue, I looked and my bios version was somehow 1.0 even though the updater said it was up to date, well while flashing the bios something happened and the screen just blacked out and never came back on.... so I may be stuck now. I redownloaded the bios onto a flash drive and unplugged all drives and just have the flashdrive hooked up (according to msi website), waiting to see if this works to get me back to the bios. Any tips on what to do if I don't get back to the bios screen?

Well I'm back to square one at least, got the OC back and system back up and running... still booting to bios but it's working at least

You running drives as AHCI? Do a memory test in BIOS. It was suggested for my Tomahawk to use slot 2 and 4 for dual channel. Drives detected in BIOS? I have heard of problems where BIOS defaults need to be loaded numerous time to get settings to stick. Work right on defaults?

I got it fixed finally. After trying everything I could think of turns out it was my monitor causing the issue. Switched to a different monitor and booted fine. Im thinking it was the USB hub built into the monitor possibly backfeeding. Either way works fine now finally. Thanks for the help everyone
