If i am at 270x10 running 1:1, CPUZ and Clockgen read my ram correctly @ 270. If i go to 290x9.5 1:1, or any other multiplier w/ corresponding FSB to equal 2.75GHz, RAM doesnt read correctly. It reads 275MHz. For example, If i set my FSB to be 344 and multi to be x8 running 5:6, RAM freq should be 287...instead its 275. What is causing this?

Hmm . . . Maybe your BIOS? Do you have an updated or "favored" version?

i have the 11/5 (something like that) one. When i updated to the 07 one (12/7), i couldnt OC past 210 on the FSB...wouldnt post so I reset and went back to the original one. i dunno...

OCZ Tony on DFI-street has modded BIOS's and i tried all of them. None of them would let me OC, not even the new official one from DFI. Only the last one in the list of Tonys CD would let me OC to 250FSB and 250 RAM...nothing more. The other BIOS just refused to OC at all.
