I just got a x800 xt .. when i play UT2k4 and make fast movements to left and right some places on the screen kinda blur. i have vsync on so i dont exactly know what to do .
help really appreciated.

A stupid question, but you arnt by any chance using a new/different moniter than you usually use, or an LCD are you? Upgrading from Nvidia to ATI by any chance?

Check your drivers, new card, new driver issues. If you have Temporal AA turned on (i think thats what they call it) that *could* be the cause. Try turning that off first, then if thats not it, try setting AA and AF off to be sure its not one of those. Check your texture settings and basically all your settings, make sure nothing is out of the ordinary. If all else fails, try a different version of the catalyst driver.

With UT2003 and UT2004 demos i played, i found that looking around just *looked* choppy, with and without vsync enabled. It wasnt screen tearing, it just looked very jagged and rough. Very hard to explain. Even if the game and animations run pretty smooth, looking around nearly gives me a headache compared to say looking around in other games i play, Halflife for one. Not sure if its my graphics card, or the game engine, or what.

i resolved the issue .. i turned AGP textures off in the drivers as i have a PCI-E card.
You'd expect it would turn it of automatically :S.. anyho its working great now ! :)

i'm not really sure what you are discribing. is it possable to take a screen shot?

how do i take a screeny ? :S

Ive been on it for several days still couldnt fix it. the screen is like stretching a bit when i make fast movements in a game etc. im really lost im thinking the card is fuxored.
does anyone have an idea ?

taking a screenshot is easy. you could always look up how to do it on the internet(hint hint).

usually when you want help for free, asking "where is the fucking help ? you guys on teabreak ?" is a bad idea.

it seems the videocard wasnt seated good enuff in the pciexpress slot :S
im glad the vidcard didnt blew up or something . thx for trying to help lads i was a bit frustrated heh
