Issue with a Corsair 550vx PSU?

I have a brand new 550vx from corsair and it makes a low buzzing noise, even when the computer is turned off (power supply still plugged in with switch on, but computer off).

Operates perfectly, just wondering if this might lead to a shorter life span etc. and if someone else with this power supply notices the buzzing too.
 
No buzzing here. 550VX powering a 780G system of mine
 
this is annoying, its not a real 'problem' but it still bothers me :(

edit: this is a common problem i found on the corsair forums, the buzzing is related to the fan.

It's not related to the fan if the unit isn't on and the fan isn't spinning. If you'd like, we can RMA it for you. Contact our tech support guys through our website and I'm sure they'll be more than happy to fix you up.
