ISSUE: Radeon 6870 Driver problem plz help

OK for some strange reason, I keep getting this rainbow screen. I have three video cards here of ATI-ness, all of them Asus, two are 6850 and one is a 6870. When I install the card w/o driver, everything is all minty perfect, but as soon as I install a driver I get this rainbow screen (but the screen appears after the windows loading screen). I take the card out, put in an nvidia 8600, go into windows, remove all drivers, ati drivers, nvidia drivers, everything. I installed a driver cleaner program, it removed everything (or claimed to), i install the 6870 again and as soon as I install a driver I get a rainbow screen. Take the card out, uninstall all drivers, install now a 6850, install drivers, and i get rainbow screen again!!!! I have a dual slot motherboard and if i try reinstalling drivers using the bottom slot i get the same rainbow screen!!

FML.

The cards work fine in other computers.

System specs:

Intel Core i7 920
Rampage III GENE
3x 1GB HyperX DDR1600
Corsair HX850 PSU

Someone pleaaaaaaaaase! I'm not going to give up!! I'm going for a smoke and then I'm back to reading forums for rainbow screen issues!!
