I just got an is7 mobo along with a whole slew of new stuff. For some reason its not working. It seems liek its not sending any signal to the moniter. i've tried two seperate moniters and video cards so i doubt its any compatibility issues. i suppose the mobo could be busted or something but i dont see how. any suggestions?

Do you hear beeps as it POSTs? Or does it seem to be dead?

i helped him build it, it doesnt beep or antyihg, yet it turns on and stays on. botht the lights on the motherboard light up like they should...yet no output, whats wrong? bad mobo?

Try a different monitor and/or monitor cable and also try booting with a PCI video card.

the moniter works, we put the video card in a dif comp and it went to bios. dont have a pci video card though...

You should hear at least one beep at some point in the bootup (Unless the IS7's are different from anything I've ever worked with)... Is it possible that the CPU could be bad? I've had the same thing happen to me, thought it was video, but there were no beeps on POST or anything, and it was the CPU...

*shrugs* Just an idea.

Good luck. :)
