Is7 mob flaky?

I just bought a new pc with a 3.0 p4 and an abit is7. The comp stopped working after about 3 or 4 runs. I rma'd the chip and when i got it back i had the same problem. I am currently rma'ing the mob. Is this common to the IS7? or is there another problem I should check into before spending the 10 dollars to send the mob back?
 
I bought an IS7 the first week they were available and have been using it ever since with no problems that weren't a direct result of me messing with bios settings etc.. We really need more info then just "stopped" but it could be any of a number of things such as mobo, ram, power supply or possibly video card depending on what you mean by "stopped".
 
Could be PSU. Do you have a voltmeter or multimeter? If you do or have access to one it's an easy thing to test for. If not I would try swapping the PSU.

Although it wouldn't surprise me at all if the board just sucked. That has always been my experience with Abit.
 
The power supply is not bad because i have another computer that has a psu that works good, and i tried that one in this one and it did nothing to fix the problem.

By just stopped i mean i press the power button, and the light on the board goes on and the light on the ram goes on <geil dragon> but nothing else happens.

Its not the video card because I tried it with out it and got nothing

Its not the ram because i tried it without that and it did nothing.

So i have rma'd it to new egg, and hopefully that will be the end of my problems.
 
get a single stick of any ram and put it in, besides what you are using.

I've had that problem with them.
 
Memory and 865/875 boards are a touchy combination. I've tried several manufacturers of memory that weren't compatible with those chipsets.
