Is Windows Update all messed up for you connection-wise?

I always get this page cannot be displayed. I have to refresh the page at least 20 times till it actually loads.

I am losing a legitamate version of Windows XP Professional w/ SP2

seen this come up a bunch of times lately at work... sometimes its the autoupdate is waiting for you to install something, or ie6 lost its activex control config.

I was having problems accessing the update site, and found out today there is a conflict using web accelerator, (I have dialup )

Disabled web accelerator, and bingo full access no problems. May not pertain in your case, but you may look into disabling any kind of services such as firewalls and "accelerators"

Last week when downloading stuff from M$, it was SO slow.
