Is this worth buying?

I'm running a Gainward GeForce 4 Ti4200 128 Meg card right now. Recently a friend was parting out one of his machines and he wants to sell me his ATI Radeon 9600 Pro for a good price.

I'm just curious, will I even get a noticable difference between my Ti4200 and the Radeon 9600 Pro, or should I just not purchase it and see if I can save up for a 9800 Pro?

unless hes selling it for under $100 or so I'd save up.

depending on what you use it for you will notice a difference. newer games at higher res mostly

I don't think its worth getting 9600 Pro. It should be equal except its faster at DX9. Keep your ti4200 and just upgrade to something higher. 9800 Pro or higher. Just wait, it will go down in price.
