Is this the proper command line in the .exe?

FAH504-Console -local.exe

I'm running two clients and followed all the instructions, just wanted to make sure if I did the command line right, and if there was any way to check in the console to see if it worked or not.

It should be:
FAH504-Console.exe -local

It'll run with it like that, since if you don't specify the extension it looks for .exe files, but you're passing it the -local.exe flag, which does nothing.

FAH504-Console.exe -local

That should be in the target box. This is what mine says:

C:\Folding\FAH504-Console.exe -forceasm -verbosity 9 -advmethods

If I do it the way you all told me, it says I'm changing the executable extension and now it won't run.

EDIT: I just created a shortcut for each and added in the flag the way you two said to. Works now, I think.

create a shortcut first, and then add -local to the shortcut target box (right click on the shortcut and then go to Properties).

Besides the command line make sure you run "FAH504-Consol.exe -config" and do the "advance options"
and put in a different machine id.
Also - user name gemniii :)
To check just look at your log files.

I'm looling in the console now and it is using my user id properly. I already did the advanced options. I followed that guide on the Hard DC site. The -local flag was the only problem I was having.
