Is this *the* Display Port?

[Sly]

Oookaayy, i just found out i need something called a 'Display Port'. Unfortunately, searching for it is kind of a pain. *Every* monitor has a display port so i'm getting a ton of useless hits!

Buying online is not an option. A $50.00 item will cost me another $50.00 in taxes when it gets past customs.

Anyway, i finally found someone with a 'Display Port' he's trying to get rid of and i'd like to know if this is the thing you need for eyefinity.

Display Ports:
VGA DB25
DVI and it's variations
Display Port
Mini Display Port

Sometimes HDMI is used, but it's really intended for home cinema applications.

Most of the ATI cards for Eyefinity, probably use regular DisplayPort, the Mini-DisplayPort is likely only going to be found on laptops.
Somethingl like this perhaps: http://www.google.com/products/cata...ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CCgQ8wIwAg#ps-sellers

Crap, looks like that's not it. I'll have to keep looking. Thanks for the clarification.

Don't buy the apple displayport dongle. Apparently, from Kyle's testing, it has compatibility issues with Radeon 5000 series.
Buy the Dell active displayport adapter if you need a DVI to Displayport dongle.
