idle 5 minutes after 3dmark 2003 and 2001. 38c.

is the high 30ish tolerable? no oc''ed parts btw.
 
Um, what part were you speaking of? Vidcard? CPU? Case temp? I guess I will assume you meant vidcard beings you posted it to video cards, so yes, 38c is a good temp for a vidcard. I've seen my oc'd 6800GT get up to 70c with no problems, and as far as I can tell this is fairly commonplace.
