Is this system enough to drive a dell 2005fpw at the reccomended widescreen resolution in most source games and other modern games?
Shuttle SN25P
EVGA 7800GT
1-Gig Corsair Ram
AMD x2 3800+
Or should I look elsewhere for a good LCD, maybe just a 19 inch one?
Advice?
 
I dont have one, but id say your pretty set. you wont be able to do 16x AA or anything at those res'es without SLI, but you can run solid 4x AA 16x AF i think.
 
My setup (Intel 2.8ghz, 6800ultra, 1gb ram) is able to run CS:S, BF2, and Fear at High/Max settings 2x AA with flawlessly. With yours, you wont have any problems.
 
it's amazing to me how so many people buy stuff that's so high end and then ask if it will run a Dell 2005FPW. Heck, people buy more than they need in this realm way to often
