Corsair 256GB Force LX Series Solid State Drive : CSSD-F256GBLX

putting some older games on it larger games nothing special price seems ok to me.

Can it be found any cheaper elsewhere?

Thats a old SSD. You do not have a price listed.

For reference, the Samsung Evo 850 was just $65 with free shipping for the 250GB version.

MANY 250/256GB SSD's are under $70. And almost any of the newer ones will easily outpace that drive. I would only take it if it was free and I was using it for non essential data.

"Old" in the tech world, I guess (released May 2014). It is a MLC drive, though, which is why it's more expensive than the Samsung 850 EVO using TLC.

What is the price, OP? The 256GB Samsung 850 Pro is going for around $130 US right now, while that Corsair drive is listed at $145 US. The former is using the newer 3-D V-NAND tech and is also MLC, while its write speed is around 100-150 MB/s faster than the Corsair.
