given the space constraints, that's probably about as good as you can do, although you might try to figure out a way to get the right front the same distance from you as the left front... that's a pretty case and everything, but i personally would put it underneath my desk and center my display/viewing position on the desk...

<not gonna ask about the roll of tp... not gonna do it... wouldn't be prudent... :) >

Looks good to me, The only thing I can think of is with the two rears so close together this is only personal preference. the reason is, the closeness of them is limiting the surroud sound field, which makes it seem tiny. ...ill edit my answer when I can gather what the hell im trying to say...sorry if it sounds too vague. Good luck though.

BTW I hope your using that toilet paper by your computer for your runny nose right? :D

EDIT : ^^^^dang, the poster above me beat me to the mentioning of the TP! congrats on the sharp eye ;)

If I were you I would raise those rears up higher on the wall.
2 reasons
1. Less likely to get in the way when using the bed for other activities.
2. Probably give you a bit better sound since you would have fewer obstacles in the way.

Did you crop those pictures? Because they look VERY narrow.

Anyway, I can't see the whole desk, but from what I can see.... its probably good enough.
I personally would have done things a tad bit diffrent, but "nit picking" with that equipment is like adding custom rims to a 89 honda civic hatchback..... its pretty much pointless.

Edit: ^_^, I missed the toilet paper..... =sticky fingers ^_^

hurmm, i dont know why pics look narrow, my room is tiny as crap, think tissue box

and i dunno if you can see in pics but i did have them, about half a foot higher then they are, but didnt sound good, put it right where they are and its louder/crisper......

and it doesnt effect sleeping or activities......its leet pulling the speaker onto my bed and watching a dvd :p

and toilet paper was for my gf!!! geez........serriously, she had a cold and that used to be a whole roll :( i feel bad cause i was the one who got her sick :(
