Is this forum for only digital cameras? Or for film ones as well. I have gotten into photography just recently, and have found that my mom has a Pentax SF-10(film SLR, which WAS worth around 650$ for the body alone when she bought it).
 
Nope, though a lot of us own digicams. Much of what is discussed applies to both film and digital cameras, like lenses or shutter speeds or whatever.
 
Being part of a computer forum, you'd expect a lot of the discussions to be pertaining to digital cameras. But, most of us are general photography geeks, so I bet we'd be able to answer your questions, whether they are film-related or digital-related.
 
Film still rocks! I like my D70, but there are some things to still appreciate film for...like B&W and the dynamic range for film is better as well.
 
This forum is about photography, no matter what you are using. :)
 
yay, im gonna get my first pictures developed then, and see how they come out.
