Is this PSU sufficient?

Will I be ok with this PSU? I plan on overclocking the chip to 3.0 if possible.

Core 2 Quad Q6600
4GB DDR2
IDK what GPU I will be using but it wont be anything too powerful I am not a gamer.


If not can someone reccomend a better PSU to use. I am on a budget here and I really can't spend $100 on a PSU. I would like to spend about $60.

That's a very good unit and will be enough. You might also want to take a look at the Antec earthwatts 430W and BFG LS-550 (if you don't mind the rebate).

if you dont mind rebates, get it for $5 less and from a very reputable seller. youve made a good choice there.

I dont deal with rebates lol but I bought the mobo through newegg. That one was only a $10 rebate and it ws the cheapest place to get it anyways.

I second the earthwatts. Great psu, I ran the comp in my sig clocked at 3.6 w/ 2 hdd's and a 9800GT with one.
