We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Is this possible?

I have an HP Pavilon and was wondering if it's possible to take out the motherboard and replace it without hassle. Has anyone tried this? I'm getting seriously pissed (excuse that) at the limits they put on this thing...

Well I've heard some wierd rumors about replacing those kind of parts in a brand machine (hp, dell) and the computer not functioning afterwards  I never really believed them but it wouldn't hurt to ask, eh?

I guess you would need to reformat to get all the HP drivers out. Other then that you should be fine...I think :D

As long as the case is ATX form factor (it should be, but might want to find out first), and you have your own non-HP version of Windows to install, it should work. You will have to format and reinstall, and you cannot use your HP version of XP once you reinstall since it will only work on HP motherboards...
