I just finished my 1st rig, all the lights go on the drives work etc but after around 1-5 minutes the PC will just turn off randomly.

The set up is this
Gigabyte 965P-ds3 mobo
8800GTS
2g Gskill ram
Seagate 320g Harddrive
Coolermaster Centurion case
Liteon Cd drive
Intel core 2 duo 1.83 ghz processor

and the PSU is a Xclio 500w PSU

is the PSU the problem here?

60$

It turns off even when the GTS isn't in there so the PSU shouldnt have been overloaded or anything. Wouldnt that mean its not the PSU?

PSU is not at fault. It's a solidly built psu. I'm guessing mobo or cpu or ram issue.

Just because Xclio is a solid maker, and provides great PSU's, doesn't mean an Xclio PSU will never fail prematurely.. same with Antec, Seasonic, Enermax, ect...

Could be, i'd rule out all your hardware first, well, atleast the easy ones like vid card, and RAM. To test load start up your computer, and immediatly start a 3d program, if the PC crashes you've found your culprit, vid card isn't getting enough juice, or vid card is faulty.
