The RAM is compatible with the board, but it may not be the best choice for your needs.

Are you overclocking? Have you already bought everything?
 
Sometime in the future. What would you recommend? I also bought everything.
 
If you're not getting the overclocking performance you'd expect, consider swapping the RAM out for DDR3 1600.
