Is this MoBo compatible with this RAM?

I'm kind of confused by Newegg's spec listing.

According to Gigbyte's website:

http://www.gigabyte.us/Products/Mot...board&ProductID=2847&ProductName=GA-EP43-DS3L

Support for DDR2 1200+/1066/800/667 MHz memory modules

Those should work fine in that board...they are actually below the max supported.

NewEgg lists the fastest RAM a particular board can support... and oftentimes people get confused thinking that it's the minimum speed they should be looking for. If you have no intentions of overclocking, you can get away with using a cheaper set of RAM.

Which processor are you pairing with this set?
