is this kick ass enough?

i'm going to buy a new a64 3000 (winchester) from newegg retail priced at $152 and an abit av8 from another place for $100. I'm upgrading b/c my current sig. setup is bottlenecking my gpu in games like far cry and d3. I don't wanna spend more than $300. any suggestions or this pretty good? is the av8 a decent overclocker?

total your shipping from both places... if it is cheaper from both. then factor in shipping time.

Yeah when I get the money, I'm going to buy the same setup. It's worth it. It's gonna maximize your gaming experience. Go with it.
