Is this HDD any good?

500GB/platter drive. Not as fast as an F3 or WD black, but a very fast drive.
 
That's good to know :D Does anyone have any HDtach benchmarks of this drive or anything like that?
 
Well I did some searching on the web and found a couple reviews. They all seem to show the same HDTach scores. This drive seems to pull 110MB/sec Average read and have an access time of 14.3ms. How does this compare to other drives though? The reviews I've found only compare it to the 7K1000.b and 7K1000 but not the Samsung F3 or anything like that.

EDIT: I just ran HDtach on my current OS drive. It is an 80GB Western Digital drive. It's not new or even close but here is what I got.

Here is the Bench of my current ( also completely full ) storage drive. It is a Seagate 160gb and is also quite old.

I just got the new HDD in about an hour ago. I installed it and ran HDTach immediately. These are the results.

I hope this will help someone when trying to find a decent storage drive.
