I'm just trying to guage if my current setup is good, ok, or bad. I'm really not sure what kind of speeds are typical. It does what I want it to, so that's what counts, but just curious if I'm even up to par with a typical server.
I have a raid 5 with 5 1TB drives, using mdadm raid. These are the bonnie++ results:
With VMs running and a backup job running:
With VMs running:
With no VMs running, only basic disk access like mail and other light stuff:
I'm guessing the most important stat to look at is rewrite K/sec and read K/sec?
So in that last one, the 193950 number is my write speed in blocks and 301904 is read speed in blocks right?
