Athlon XP 2500+ (Barton) 1.8 GHz 333 FSB 512 Cache.
default settings are 11.0 x 166/33 = 1.83 GHz @ 1.65 Volts and 34 degrees
So I went ahead and overclocked to this:
Athlon XP 3200+ (Barton) 2.2 GHz
Changed settings 11.0 x 200/33 = 2.2 GHz @ 1.70 Volts and 40 degrees
Does This sound about right? Did I do anything wrong? Im pretty sure my motherboard is not capable of any more (Asus A7V600-X).
I can change the multiplier anywhere up to around 20 or so. I can get the FSB to change to about 230 top. The problem is this:
1) No matter what I change the multiplier to it registers as 11.0
2) Any FSB over 200/33 will not work, the CPU will not boot.
So basically all I can get now is 11.0 x 200. Will my ram be ok under this increase (PC-3200 DDR400) 2 sticks of 512.
