• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Is this DSL network possible ?

Probably not, unless you have a switch in there at your modem, and your ISP is letting you have 2 outside IP addresses. The rest should work fine.

If you use the DMZ feature on your router, as long as the Dell PC can access the network, be it Ethernet or Wireless, it honestly would effectively work the same.

Yes, that should work fine.

Note to others here.... the "2Wire" brand gateway is a router not just a modem.

Just make sure the Buffalo wireless router is set for a non-conflicting IP on the same subnet as the 2Wire, and DHCP is turned off on the Buffalo. Use only the LAN ports on the Buffalo, not the WAN port.

This is correct. There's another recent thread here on how to do it in principle.

FWIW, there's another possible configuration, although with a slightly different physical layout -- convert the 2wire into bridged mode (modem only), and use the Buffalo as the router.
