Apple Cinema 20" Flat-Panel Display for $600??? The retail is $999 and it's really hard to get discounts from them, unless you're a student and it's only 10% off.

I emailed the seller with several questions: If it's refurb, packed new in a box, and if there's anything wrong with since it's $600... and here's their reply:

as you see they haven't asnwered any of my questions, and then I replied asking them to call me regarding this offer, which they never did! So it looks like it's the same company selling these apples from two different locations?

that's insane, the 23' is ony 540, and the 30' is 1200... there is no way that is possible.
and free shipping? insured free?
you know what they say.. if it seems to good to be true...
also the reason they haven't called you back is cuz "they are based out of italy"
 
It's still very ahrd to believe this deal is legit... and sending money over to italy doesn't sounds too safe to me!

If something seems to be too good to be true it probably is. Already said, bears restating.

If you know that there is no legitimate 40-60% discount on the Apple products anywhere for anybody, then you know this is a bad idea.

Seriously, and besides I'd say 90% of those software scam houses originate overseas, it comes as no surprise that they would attempt the hardware side of things too.

It would be great to get a deal like that, but don't try..

Well, something was definitely up, because that same Amazon page now lists the display as $949.99 (have to add it to your cart).

Buyer beware! Better to just stay away from "Media World"

sent an email off to the FCC and FBI with all the info on that place. To see what they thought of it. Interesting if they actually come back with a reply.
