PC Stats are the same from the Sig below. I"m running this on a Win7 64bit OS, however, I had the problem prior to running Win7 on Win XP (32 bit OS).

What's happening is while playing, the PC locks up, the monitor gives me a message stating it has lost input signal and goes black. The PC doesn't turn off or anything but just hangs.. whatever sound was playing atm just loops... I have to end up manually turning the PC off and rebooting to fix it.

Anyone got any ideas if this is infact the video card or could it be another component?

Thanks!

edit: Forgot to mention.. the video card seems to be running at about 74C while playing..

Could be a driver problem, I had this issue with some old nvidia drivers that went away when I installed a different set.

That temp is nowhere near the max it can handle, if you were hitting 90 then I might start to talk about increased airflow.

Its the driver crashing. Go back to 182-ish drivers and it should fix the issue.
