Is this a PS issue?!

This has been happening ever since I formatted and installed XP Pro on my machine. Everytime I try and use the internet, the display clicks off, and a few seconds later the LED on the monitor turns yellow. However, this never happens when I do something else, like game. I would thing that if it were a PS issue, it would happen during gaming, when I am using the most power, but it doesn't. I honestly can't figure this out... One last thing is that I've had my computer spontaneously reboot while I've been playing a game (WoW Beta ^^), but only twice.

Without hard numbers it’s hard to imagine a PSU causing your problem simply because you upgraded to XP. Everything you are describing would suggest that it’s another problem. My inclination would be to format and totally reinstall the OS. Remember to check to see if all your hardware is compatible and that you have the proper drivers.

If the problem persists then you start looking at RAM, Hard Drives etc.

If you provide some hard information it would be easier to help you though. ;)

hey i had this same prob but then i installed my via drivers for my board cause my agp was off and giving me a shit score in 3dmark and it hasnet happened since and yea my score almost doubled

If I had to guess I would say you have an inerupt or memory conflict,

When you use the modem or NIC for WWW access you conflict with a display adapter memory or resource.

Very valid point, has all the symptoms too. Good call.

I'm pretty sure I've installed all the necessary drivers and such. One person reccomend tapping the PS itself, so I did that and that actually seemed to make the problem go away for some time. But now it's started up again, and tapping it didn't work this time :(
